What platforms does Rockstar Support list for GTA 6?
Source label, confirmed (Rockstar Support, fetched 2026-10-17): the page answers its platforms question with one sentence: You can pre-order Grand Theft Auto VI for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. That is the platform line on this page. It does not name a PC release. It does not name a Nintendo Switch 2 version. Both stay unconfirmed on this page. PC questions stay at /blog/is-gta-6-coming-to-pc/. Switch 2 questions stay at /blog/gta-6-switch-2-nintendo-platform-watchlist/.
Which editions does the support page name?
Source label, confirmed (same page): it names Grand Theft Auto VI: Standard Edition and Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition. It says the Ultimate Edition Upgrade will also be available for Standard Edition owners to purchase separately at any time, and that physical version buyers can upgrade at any point after their digital download code has been redeemed. The Standard answer says the Standard Edition includes the game, and that owners can purchase the upgrade from the PlayStation or Microsoft stores after the Standard Edition code has been redeemed. The upgrade answer says you can upgrade a pre-order by purchasing the Ultimate Edition Upgrade as a digital add-on through the PlayStation and Microsoft storefronts. Those sentences are not the same scope. This article keeps each one. No price is printed. Dollar amounts on the Rockstar Store and Xbox pages stay at /blog/gta-6-rockstar-store-standard-ultimate-checklist/, /blog/gta-6-xbox-series-official-page-explained/, and /blog/gta-6-rockstar-store-standard-ultimate-checklist/.
What does the Ultimate Edition list include?
Source label, confirmed (same page): the Ultimate answer says the edition contains Grand Theft Auto VI and the GTAVI: Ultimate Edition Upgrade, then lists '95 Grotti Cheetah, Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers, Personalized Weapon Variants, Vice City Styles, Jason's Safehouse Vehicles, Ganado Retro Build, Rideout Customs Mod Shop, Sara's Unisex Salon, Shitzu Squalo, Stock 305 Clothing Store, '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy and Garage, Electric Fang Tattoo Parlor, One-Eyed Willie's Mod Shop, Goodtime Gear, PTT Youngin$ Compound, and Classic Car Collection. It says Ultimate Edition bonuses are threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia's story, with new items uncovered behind each chapter. That sentence does not give a chapter count. The same answer says Standard owners can purchase the upgrade separately and can upgrade at any point after their Grand Theft Auto VI digital download code has been redeemed.
What is in a digital pre-order before November 20, 2026?
Source label, confirmed (same page): Grand Theft Auto VI and the Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition are available digitally. Digital pre-orders and purchases of either edition prior to November 20, 2026, will also contain the Vintage Vice City Pack Pre-Order Bonuses: '55 Vapid Stanier Sedan and Garage, Outfits and Hairstyles, Exclusive Weapon Pattern, and one month of GTA+ Membership. Players who pre-order digital versions will be able to begin pre-loading the game on November 12 at local midnight. Players who purchase the Standard Edition can separately purchase the Ultimate Edition Upgrade at any point. The page does not print a price for GTA+ after that month. The pack and month wording on other official pages stays at /blog/gta-6-vintage-vice-city-pack-gta-plus-preorder-bonus-explained/.
What does the physical version include?
Source label, confirmed (same page): Grand Theft Auto VI is available in both digital and physical versions. The physical version, containing a download code inside the box, will be available starting November 12 to support pre-loading. A disc will not be included in the box. The physical-version answer says the code is for the digital download of the game, repeats that a disc will not be included, and says the physical version is expected to become available for shipping and pickup from retailers starting on November 12. Codes can be used as soon as they are received to support pre-load on November 12. Physical pre-orders will contain one code for the digital download of Grand Theft Auto VI and the Vintage Vice City Pack. That pack list on the physical answer is the '55 Vapid Stanier Sedan and Garage, Outfits and Hairstyles, and Exclusive Weapon Pattern. The physical list does not include a month of GTA+ Membership. The page does not say a physical pre-order is barred from that month, and it does not say the month is included. A GTA+ month on a physical pre-order is unconfirmed on this page. The code-in-box article is /blog/gta-6-physical-box-download-code-explained/. The physical-copy watchlist is /blog/gta-6-physical-box-download-code-explained/.
Is there a physical Ultimate Edition?
Source label, confirmed (same page): a physical version of the Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition is not available. Physical Standard Edition owners can purchase the Ultimate Edition Upgrade from the PlayStation or Microsoft stores after their Standard Edition code has been used. That is an availability sentence. It is not a price.
When does pre-load start?
Source label, confirmed (same page): the pre-load answer says yes, pre-load will begin at local midnight on November 12, 2026. It repeats that the physical version, containing a download code inside the box, will be available starting November 12 to support pre-loading, and that codes redeemed before launch will begin pre-loading on November 12. The digital pre-order sentence uses the same local-midnight phrase for November 12 and does not add the year. The page does not name a time zone, a file size, or a console-by-console clock. Local midnight is the phrase printed on the page. It is not a single worldwide timestamp.
Are download codes region-locked?
Source label, confirmed (same page): region restrictions for code redemptions of Grand Theft Auto VI are based on the region associated with your platform account. If you purchase either version in a region different from your platform account, that version must match the region of your platform account. The page recommends buying and playing from a retailer in the country of your platform account to avoid potential activation problems. For PlayStation, codes purchased in the listed regions are only to be used by users holding an account registered to a specific set of countries. The sets are Brazil (Brazil); LATAM (Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay); North America (Canada, United States); Korea (South Korea); Japan (Japan); United Kingdom (United Kingdom); Saudi Arabia & UAE (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates); Rest of Asia (Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand); and Rest of EMEA and Asia (Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine). For Xbox, the page says codes purchased are not region-locked.
When do Japan PlayStation codes expire?
Source label, confirmed (same page): product codes in Japan will expire 170 days after the issuance date, which is the launch date (November 19, 2026), due to regional regulations. That line sits under the PlayStation region list. The Xbox sentence on the same page is the not-region-locked line. It is not an expiry date.
What does this page leave unconfirmed?
Unknown on this page: a price, a PC release, a Nintendo Switch 2 version, a file size, a time zone for local midnight, an age-rating letter, a chapter count, and whether a physical pre-order includes the GTA+ month. The last-updated line is August 18, 2026, so this 2026-10-17 check does not treat the page as a new October announcement. Secondary store pages are not used to fill those gaps. No leaked assets, private documents, or checkout screens are used as evidence.
