What readers need to know
Short answer: as checked on 2026-10-16, the page at https://www.rockstargames.com/VI/launch-trailer titles the video Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer, dates it October 15, 2026, and prints 1:29 on that card. It says to check out the Launch Trailer, featuring the debut of “Flower in a Hurricane” from original score composers Justice feat. Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. The page does not print a price, and it does not state a PC release or a Nintendo Switch 2 version.
Source label, confirmed (launch-trailer page, fetched 2026-10-16): the document title is Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer. The canonical URL is https://www.rockstargames.com/VI/launch-trailer. The meta description repeats the Flower in a Hurricane sentence. The card under the player prints the same title, the date October 15, 2026, and the same sentence. The video object sets duration to 1:29, the player field is rockstar, and the trailer card prints 1:29 next to the title. That runtime is the figure on this card. It is not a chapter list, a shot list, or a YouTube length copied from another video.
Source label, confirmed other runtimes on the same page: Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look is dated August 27, 2026 and prints 26:48. Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2 is dated May 6, 2025 and prints 2:47. Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 1 is dated December 4, 2023 and prints 1:31. A YouTube URL in the page data sits on the Extended Look entry, next to a Netflix link. It is not attached to the launch-trailer entry. The Extended Look stays at /blog/gta-6-extended-look-netflix-august-27/.
Source label, confirmed story sentence on the launch-trailer page: Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive. That sentence names Jason, Lucia, and the state of Leonida. It does not name a mission, an ending, or a new playable character.
Source label, limited to the Newswire shell: the VI homepage card is titled Watch the Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer, dated October 15, 2026, and links https://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/517572321a549a/watch-the-grand-theft-auto-vi-launch-trailer. The static Newswire HTML fetched the same day is a shell. Its meta description begins Vice City, USA. Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them, and the published description ends in an ellipsis after stretching across. The Leonida sentence above is the one the launch-trailer page prints in full. It does not open with Vice City, USA.
Source label, confirmed music-page line on the same fetch: https://www.rockstargames.com/VI/music prints the heading Official Score by Justice and the sentence Listen to the new standalone single “Flower in a Hurricane” from original score composers Justice feat. Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. A Listen Now control links to https://justice.lnk.to/flowerinahurricane. A track label on the page reads Flower in a Hurricane (feat. Tame Impala, SZA, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard). The visible single block does not print a dollar amount. A link-out is not a free download and not a game price. The six station previews stay at /blog/gta-6-radio-stations-official-music-page/. Album wording stays at /blog/gta-6-the-album-november-19/.
Source label, confirmed platforms, still no PC or Switch 2 (VI homepage and launch-trailer page, same day): the homepage prints Coming November 19, 2026. Its platform labels name PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Plays Best On is shown for PlayStation 5. The launch-trailer page repeats Plays Best On, and the badge alt text is Plays best on PlayStation 5. A clipped accessible name on that page reads Xbox Series X|S. Neither page states a PC release or a Nintendo Switch 2 version. Those questions stay at /blog/is-gta-6-coming-to-pc/ and /blog/gta-6-switch-2-nintendo-platform-watchlist/.
Source label, confirmed descriptors, not a rating letter: the launch-trailer page prints Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Mature Humor, Nudity, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content, Use of Drugs and Alcohol, and In-Game Purchases. The page data includes a rating component named esrb-mature. The visible page does not print MATURE 17+, ESRB, or PEGI. The Xbox page is the one that prints MATURE 17+, and that stays at /blog/gta-6-xbox-series-official-page-explained/. A Pre-Order Now control appears on the launch-trailer page and does not print a dollar amount. Edition prices stay on the store and Xbox articles, not on this trailer page.
Unknown on these pages: a scene list, a chapter count inside the 1:29 card, a file size, a resolution, a frame rate, a price, a PC release, a Nintendo Switch 2 version, and an ESRB or PEGI letter printed on the launch-trailer page. The pages checked on 2026-10-16 also do not print a sentence that the trailer was captured in-game. Secondary recaps that add those details are not promoted here. No leaked assets, private documents, or extracted frames are used to fill those gaps.
